My name is Meagen and my love of animals is a whole-hearted obsession. I graduated from Arizona State University with a BFA in Sculpture. I was unsatisfied with the design of pet cards on the market and began making my own. The passing of my soul mate, Bensen, led me on this path of pet-related artwork. Each and every hand-made one-of-a-kind artwork is made with love and in memory of my very special boy.
Throughout Bensen's life, I felt guilt and sadness leaving him everyday and I wanted to create a way to work from home. Although he went to the Rainbow Bridge in February 2005, we still have quite a crew at home that appreciates having mom home. We are servants to an English Bulldog named Leonard; a White German Shepherd named Trigger; two Cornish Rexes, Four and Smudge; a Devon Rex named Cinco and a DSH named Finley. My number one girlfriend, Candy, joined Bensen at the Bridge in June 2007 after a brief battle with hemangiosarcoma. I miss my sissy terribly.
In addition to creating artwork, my husband and I are avid design nuts! We love scouring thrift stores and estate sales for unusual and beautifully designed items.
